Graduating from India, Dr. Adarsh Aravind underwent core medical training in the UK and pursued advanced specialization in Geriatrics and General Medicine at renowned London hospitals, including the Royal Free London. Recognized for his dedication, Dr. Aravind became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of London in 2009 and obtained a specialist certificate in Geriatrics in 2013.
Furthering his expertise, Dr. Aravind completed a fellowship in Stroke Medicine from Imperial College London, focusing on critical areas. Subsequently, he earned the FRACP from the Royal Australian College of Physicians in September 2021 upon moving to New Zealand.
Currently collaborating with Sydney’s Westmead Neurologists, Dr. Aravind is in the process of establishing the first Duodopa service for advanced Parkinson’s patients at the Coffs Harbour Health campus. Complementing clinical work, Dr. Aravind completed a peri-operative medicine short course with Monash University and is pursuing a diploma with the Royal College of Anesthesiology.
